Construction Begins on Muhammad Bin Abdullah Masjid, Ayodhya

The Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation will begin construction of a grand mosque in Ayodhya from May this year.

The mosque, named Muhammad Bin Abdullah Masjid, will be built on the site of the Babri Masjid, which was destroyed in 1992.

The Babri Masjid was a mosque built by the Mughal emperor Babur in 1528. It was located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, and was one of the most important mosques in the country.

In 1992, the Babri Masjid was destroyed by a Hindu mob. The destruction of the mosque led to widespread violence and riots in India. The Supreme Court of India ruled in 2019 that the destruction of the mosque was illegal and that a new mosque should be built on the site.

The construction of the Muhammad Bin Abdullah Masjid is a significant development in the history of India. It is a symbol of the country's commitment to religious freedom and tolerance. The mosque will also be a major tourist attraction and a source of pride for the Muslim community in India.
