After the Queen of Hearts incites a coup against Auradon, Red, the rebellious daughter of Mal and Ben, must team up with Cinderella's perfectionist daughter Chloe and travel back in time to prevent the downfall of her kingdom.
Directed by Jennifer Phang and written by Dan Frey and Russell Sommer, "Descendants: The Rise of Red" is an upcoming musical fantasy film produced by Disney Channel. Despite its connection to the "Descendants" franchise, the film is set to be released exclusively on Disney+.
Meanwhile, Uma, a former Villain Kid who has become the new principal of Auradon Prep, extends an invitation to Red to attend the prestigious school. It remains to be seen how this will impact Red's mission and her relationship with Chloe.
