When James Michael Grimes fell overboard from a Carnival cruise ship in the Gulf of Mexico he was lucky to be alive. The ship was moving at full speed and Grimes was quickly swept away from the vessel. A massive search and rescue operation was launched but after hours of searching, Grimes was still missing. Just when all hope seemed lost, a firefighter paramedic from Northern California, Daniel Miranda, jumped into the water and saved Grimes' life.
